A thinking service is the model your Centurion brain uses to think and reply — like choosing which expert picks up the phone.

- API keys live on the brain, never on your iPhone
- Different from device link (iPhone ↔ brain)
If thinking fails, Chat may show Your Centurion is having trouble thinking right now.
Note
Device link and thinking service are separate. You can be linked but still need to fix thinking. See Device link vs thinking service.

- Auto-select model — your brain picks a service based on your message. See Auto-select model.
- Manual — you pick one specific model. See Choose a thinking service manually.
