What happens if a subscription lapses — your data stays on the Brain.

Sovereign licensing uses graceful degradation. We do not brick your machine or delete your data from the portal when a license expires.
What you may notice
- Managed cloud features may pause until the license is renewed or updated.
- Your Soul, missions, and local files remain on your Brain.
- Contact your advisor or open Get Help if you see an unexpected status.
Checking status
- In Brain Settings, or
- On the website under Account → Licenses
Rent-to-own progress shows how much has been credited toward ownership.
