License vs activation code

This is not the iPhone security code used when pairing Sovereign Remote. See Security code.
License types
| Type | Meaning |

| Rent-to-own | Payments accumulate toward full ownership |
| Owned | Permanent for this entitlement (hardware-bound) |
The Mobile Remote app does not need a license key. It only works with a licensed Brain.
Steps
- Install Brain — see Download and install.
- Open Sovereign AI Brain → Settings → License.
- Enter the activation code from your license email (or that your advisor read to you).
- Confirm the status shows active / owned.
Prefer activating inside the Brain so the code binds to this machine’s fingerprint. Account → Licenses → Activate on the website is a support backup only.
If you need a new code
Ask your advisor. They can resend the license email or generate a new activation code from Administration. Old codes stop working when a new one is issued.
If activation fails
- Check the code for typos (no spaces).
- Confirm you signed in with the same email the license was issued to — Sign in to your Account.
- If you replaced a computer, request a replace-device from Account → Licenses first.
