iPhone no longer approved

Symptoms

• Previously linked iPhone suddenly shows not linked
• Brain rejects the connection or asks for approval again

Cause

The brain revoked or lost recognition of your iPhone — often after a Reset Identity, a brain update, or manual removal on the brain.

Steps

1. On the brain, open the device approval screen and approve your iPhone again.
2. Or use the security code: You → Security Code → Show — enter on the brain.
3. Tap Try Again on iPhone.
